Tanin Sevnica D.D.

TANIN SEVNICA D.D. (share holder comp.) is a company with 85 years of tradition. It is a profit oriented organisation in private ownership and belong to SME category activity covers wood and chemistry. It employs 130 people, 18 of them have a university degree and 7 persons with a high schools of a different directions. Beside, it employs also some experienced technicians. For some R&D project also outer experts are engaged from Slovenia and abroad. TANIN is successfully managing all R&D projects on their own or it cooperates like a partner in many EU projects.

TANIN is producing tannin extracts from a hard wood. They are used mainly as tanning agents for vegetable leather tanning. From the extracted wood are produced also other products like, Furfural and Sodium finally, the wooden ... elements and wood 18 years we have started with producing a natural extracts from a hard woods for the human and animal nutrition, too. For feed aditivives production we obtained ISO 9001:2000, GMP and BIO nins are registered in Community Register of feed aditives (2.b.).

TANIN is present with its products at all world markets. Some 65 % of these products are sold to EU members. The feed additive market cca. 5 % is dommestic market, the rest is mainly EU. But in the last few years are increasing the Asia, Africa, US and the Middle East market.

Our feed programme offerening the products as follow:

-FARMATAN a natural tannin extract.
-FARMATAN PLUS - natural tannin extract wood modified with a natural sweetener.
-ACIDAD DRY a natural tannin extract wood modified by a different organic and inorganic acids and salts .
